There are a few A7 threads with wide and UWA shots, but they are a bit too specific IMO, I'd like this to cover anything wider than a FF equivalent of 22mm, fish eye and panos welcome as a contrast of results.
Since UWA is not mainstream, non alt combos are welcome, Canon 10-24L on Canon for example.
The goal is to provide inspiration and be a source for learning effective use of this challenging focal range, which is one of my favourites.
The only rule is: <22mm on FF, <15mm on APS-C, & <11 on M4/3, etc......(fisheye and pano exempt provided the FOV is wide enough with a pano).
EDIT: This rule isn't set in stone, slightly narrower focal lengths will be permitted if the image is compelling, and/or has that UWA feeling.
Some quick pointers:
-Leading lines help greatly.
-A main subject(Duh), a second and third at different distances.
-Be bold, try different POV's, I've had random shots result in interesting compositions.
-Balance, symmetry, rule of thirds, etc... (The usual suspects still apply).
To start this off.
