p.46 #2 · Zeiss "Batis" AF lens line to be released for FF E-mount
I'm so jealous of you guys getting the lenses. I'm hoping LensRentals gets the 25 in time for me to take it to the Grand Canyon. Have the rental on pre-order. If I love it, the problem is I will have to buy it. Gotta sell my Zeiss 21mm ZE to fund it since I find that one a little too wide for most of what I do.

Guy, excellent shots. I guess NYC waited for you with this hot and humid weather...
How is the 85mm af in low light? I found it painfully slow and switched to mf... I tried on A7 II and A7R after work. I don't know if Sony will have a firmware update or not. I see also you are using with A6000. Is there any difference?

It worked pretty good last night. I used my A6000 was shooting at ISO 1250 at 1/250 with F3.2. So it was fairly low light. I shot about 1400 images. Process them this morning but honestly I'm waiting for the new A7rII . I think the new body will do far better than the A6000 and A7II with low light. I think right now it comes down to the body's ability here more than the lens. Btw loved having the OLED . It's just freaking cool looking in low light areas. Lol
Balances just lovely with both bodies with and without vertical grips. I have one for the A6000 body a off brand but had some troubles with it last night. I winded up taking it off the A6000.

Today I'm using mostly the 70-200 F4 which may come down to my 200mm solution. Not sure would love a 2.8 much more. This is the area Sony needs to address now. 135 and 200 are hopefully on the short range list. Batis 135 F2 and Batis 200mm 2.8 would rock my world.

I received the Batis 25/2 just a little while ago. Fired a couple of quick shots including wide open. I'll try to do more over lunch today. I haven't even played with OLED display . . .
