They are both out in the wild. Not sure why B&H has the delay on the 85mm. I could have grabbed them both but not enough flow going this week, maybe next week I ll grab the 25mm

They both say mid-August now.. :\ I sincerely hope this is for people looking to place an order currently, and not the expected availability of the stock that was supposed to ship on the 17th.

I just got an email from B&H saying that the 25mm lens I ordered is still on backorder. I placed my order with the A7rII so I may have missed the 1st batch. Looks like it may come after the camera now if that really ships on Aug 5th.

Wish I bought both yesterday when I had the chance. I grabbed the 85mm since that is my most needed. Just waiting for UPS to show up today. Im in NY so hopefully I can find some time to go shoot some tests with it. Im feeling pretty lucky now after seeing these release dates move to mid-August.

So, your order for the 85 is on it's way while everyone else waits for mid-August? How did that happen?

Lens is in hand. Weird thing when I mount it the Zeiss lights up but won't stay on. Cant seem to get to the settings on lens to make it always stay on or change settings. BTW The hood is stupid big. I mounted a screw in metal 67mm instead put both lens caps and hood back in box. I always save that stuff as new.
