I don't think we have one. Anyone like the idea of starting a thread for the Tilt/Shift lenses?

Here are a few.

2. 45mm PC-E (no tilt or shift but pretty darn sharp)

3. 24mm PC-E. No tilt or shift but awesome sunstar at F19.

Thanks guys. Here are a few more.

I hadn't looked much at the PC-E lenses, but man, that 45mm version looks like the perfect product lens!

24mm PC-E. These kinds of shots are what I bought the lens for. In fact, I bought the camera so I'd have something to use the lens on!

I use all mine pretty much as traditional landscape lenses. I like to use manual focus, some tilt, but mainly shift for composition.

Its been a long time since I posted. Please excuse me if this has been brought up before. I thought the Nikkor PC tilt/shift lenses did not fit on the D800, D810 camera series. The flash protrusion on the camera got in the way.
I do have the Nikkor PC 28mm f3.5 shift only lens but I would like to have the tilt capability too! In conjunction with live view I would almost have a view camera!

Now that I am retired I would like to seriously get into landscape and architectural photography. Would a D810 and the Nikkor 24/45/85 PC lenses work? I even contemplated a Canon 5DMx or a 7DMx in combination with the Canon lenses but I rather not. Your help is needed please.

Thanks
Saba

Hi OldProf,

I have a D810 and haven't had any problems with the 24mm or 45mm PC-E lenses. Now, the tilt & shift tightening/adjustment knobs get a little tight if they are vertical as there isn't a lot of space between the flash unit and the knobs. But in practice, it hasn't been a problem. I can still make whatever adjustments that I'd want.

I don't believe the D800 is any different in this respect but someone else can chime in if there are any problems.

Wow Craig. Fantastic demonstration of the images you can get with tilt shifts! All of them have such great clarity, distortion control and sharpness! I didn't think I wanted one until now! .

AHHHH! You guys are feeling my NAS! Stop!

Seriously though, some fine examples of beautiful photography.

With 6 kids still in the house I do not have the time to do this lens justice. Maybe in another 15 years.

Now that is a brilliant use of a pce - something I would not have thought of. It isn't a gimmick, but actually enhances the photo.

Here's another shot from 24mm PC-E. The shift helped me keep all my vertical lines straight (avoids the keystoning you would get by pointing camera upwards).
