Great series.....#4 is my pick but thanks for sharing them all! I am headed to SC in 2 weeks so I can't wait to use my Nikon 300/2.8 with 1.7TC!
I hear ya - I'm thinking of going to FL again I need to decide before the easter break craziness starts!

I like the curved form and lighting in #1. You have a great deal of depth and detail in the feathers on #2, the GBH on the limb. The pelican in #3 has great action, wonderful light, super detail and nice diagonals for interest. The wonderful glow in #4 is lovely, but I'd like to see that heavy dark rust coloration maybe tinted into a green. I think it detracts from the rich glow. The snowy in #6 has wonderful form and pose, and light as well. The separation between the pelican and background in #7 makes it stand out very well. The GBH in #8 with its neck stretched out and the wings quite flat gives it a not-often-seen perspective that I like. The focus, lighting and action on the Great Egret in #9 is wonderful. All in all some nice work.
Hi Fred - thanks so much for all the comments! I'll play around with #4 a bit when I have a chance and see how it looks with a little green added. Thanks!!

1,2,4 and the 7 are absolutely stunning! amazing lighting!!!!
1,2,4 are prize winners fer sure, probably 7 too
i might crop the #7 pelican just a trace closer, maybe even #4 too but just by a few pixels.
(I would not change the processing for #4 at all, you'll lose that perfect glowing magic tone there.)
Thanks for the comments Yeah, the crop on #7 took awhile to come up with. It's pretty close to full frame, but there is a touch of a crop. I'll play with it and see if it looks better with a few pixels shaved off
Holy cow! Nice shots! They are all very strong, but 1,2, and 4 stand out particularly, with maybe 2 being the best of the bunch. Maybe the best GBH shot I have seen on this board?

Your pictures are consistently top quality in all regards and these are more of the same. Thanks for your postings and I look forward to what is to come.
