I just got back from Banff area after spending a week there.
The second image was taken at first light. I used ISO 3200 at F18 to get everything in focus. Shutter speed was 1/10th to get the motion of the blowing snow. Both images are single exposures.
I love your first image! Great composition, great exposure, and good length of exposure to get some motion blur (but not too much) in the water. Fantastic!

Makes me feel like I am standing on the bank of the river ( the Bow ? ) and soaking in the majesty of the scene ( and shivering just a bit )
Both are gorgeous but that second one is just nuts. The blowing streaks of snow really worked out nicely. Great work getting all of that detail out of a single file. Very impressive.
