Two very lovely shots. Nice work. Have never been to Banff so not at all familiar with features there. Could you please identify the two locations? Thanks
The second pic is Ha Ling Peak which is a very short drive from Canmore, Alberta. Just East of Spray Lakes road and easy to find. A very popular (and usually easy) spot for climbers but can be dangerous in poor conditions. In fact, a climber died there last August. I have seen some really nice night shots from this location as well. Now where was that first shot taken? Betcha Scott Stoness knows....
Very pleasing images. The pics do justice to an exceptionally beautiful part of Canada. Been to this region twice in the past year. It is well worth the five day drive for me. Do yourself a big favor and add it to your bucket list.
Great capture especially the first shot! I think that is the outlet of lower waterfowl lake. I have been there in summer and never found a way to reach the opposite bank. Did you have to walk across the frozen lake to reach the location?

Really nice Harsha! Those Methane bubbles seem to be all the rage around here lately. I love your first pic - whereabouts in Banff did you take it?
This is my first visit to this area and fell in love with the place. So many opportunities. The first picture is Mount Chephren near waterfowl lake. It is a well known place for photographers. It can be difficult to find in the dark. I got lost getting there but fortunately found a local photographer waiting to go out. He was kind enough to take two of us. Thanks Jeff Lewis.

I love your first image! Great composition, great exposure, and good length of exposure to get some motion blur (but not too much) in the water. Fantastic!

Beautiful colors in the first image. I like the contrast between cool and warm tones, and how the ice and reflections pick up a bit of the warm tones to help tie the upper and lower portions of the image together. I think the detail could be there a bit more ... perhaps a bit too much compression. The second image is very creative. Way to push the boundaries. I particularly like how the windblown snow seems to be heading towards the prominent peak. The moon helps offset the peak compositionally, and is also a nice and natural touch. Well done.
