These are both great, but #1 is a winner.
The many layers, tonal changes and the filter light.
This would look great printed big in some hall or gallery

Another thing I just noticed in the 1st image is the difference between the upper 3rd & the bottom. I the distance/depth & separation along with the cloud fill in that upper 3rd really adds to this, keeping the viewer's interest.
Oh man #1 is just gorgeous dood. I've never visited that park before, does it always get that foggy in the mornings all year round or just the winter when SF gets that low fog?

Thanks Jason. It seems that it can happen anytime, but winter is most likely to produce these conditions.
