The 2nd quarter opened up the mountain as the snow finally melted off and the Jeep roads dried out. So I started finding deer, elk, some bear paw prints, hummingbirds...
And then this guy sitting on a log watching the world go by...
The 2Q of the year is always my favorite. I get to spend some quality time with good friend and great photographers at Magee Marsh. If you have not had the chance to photograph the Warblers at Magee Marsh and you can find the opportunity to do so jump on it.
Although this is not a Warbler it is one of my favorite shots from the 2014 Magee Marsh season.
Second quarter was by far my most difficult quarter to pick from as I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph a fox den...but then I also got to shoot a pygmy owl in Arizona and rather than bend the rules I will only pick one. But there maybe other ways I'll get those others in
