Thank you very much Dave. I am very happy with this composition as I did spend a lot of time on it. It was such a tricky position to set up that I would just moving my camera around with live view until I had the comp I wanted. Then the fun of getting the tripo in place so camera is where I needed it to be. I think I fought with that tripod for 10min getting it just right. I was laying on a tree that is hovering over more ice, water and rocks. Any movement was challenging. Falling off wouldn't have been fatal or get me injured I still didn't want to fall into the ice waters.
Great capture Scott, beautiful composition I feel like I am standing right there. Your effort to stay there and wait for the right light has really made this image the soft late light is absolutely beautiful here.

Thank you John. I agree. At first I was hoping more clouds would drift into frame but after the fact the small amount of colour works great.

Thank you very much Lonnie. This place is constantly changing. I was back there again on Monday and almost all the ice is gone. Much of the snow as well. The weekend had warmer temps. Now we are in a deep freeze so things will be icing up again. Time for round two.
