I know that in the past Moose Peterson has held aviation photography workshops. I also know that Jim Wilson has discussed holding an aviation photography seminar, but I don't know if he has any plans for this in the future.
Seems to me that I have seen one of the camera companies sponsoring a motorcycle photography seminar, but it sounded like you needed to be able to ride a motorcycle to attend - which I don't do.

Was wondering what other sports photography workshops or seminars in the US others are aware of.
I am not talking those three hour seminars that are often offered locally, but rather seminars of a day or longer in length that might be of interest to the experienced sports photographer.
Jim....I was going to reference the Peter Read Miller and SSA ones based on what I've read and heard about them. Personally....I haven't been to either one (I would like to attend one of the SSA workshops within the next 2 years) however, fellow FM'er Billy Hurst has been to the SSA workshop recently (within the last 2 yrs I think) and I've spoken to him personally on his experience with it and it was thumbs up all around. It might be worth a dime to give him a shout and you can ask him the specific info you are looking for.
If you are near a motor sports track, they might have something that interests you. Lime Rock Park in CT does a couple seminars each year during race weekends.

Thanks for the information, that is exactly the type of thing I was looking for. I would gladly travel to Connecticut for something like this. Then I looked at the application. It looks like the last time this was held was in 2010
I know the major tracks within a 150 mile radius of me, and none of them that I know of offers anything like this (I did look at them).
