Im having a hard time deciding between edits.
One is normal, one is a matte look I made up. I like both, and cant decide so I'm asking the people of FM.

The first shot has a more "contrasty" look that better separates your subject from the background giving much more pop to the image. Both are nice images.

I like #1 because the blacks are dark in #1 but a bit washed out in #2.

We are probably on the tail end of the faded look as well so in a couple of years you may both regret it if you go with that.

Unless you *require* pulled blacks, skip the affected look, as Marcus suggests.
