I do honestly prefer my Z5II or ZF with my Non Chipped lenses just due to me being able to zoom into 400% and check focus or focus peaking plus I got focus confirmation with the ETZ + E to F for the Nikkor Ai/Ais Glass or E to M42 for the Pentax Glass
But my D700 or D750 the green dot confirmation works fine too.
Maybe I should get the ETZ + E to F adapter combo on my Z7 with the manual lenses, instead of looking for a new body.
The focus confirmation on my Zeiss ZF lenses is really all I am missing.

EXPEED7 was a pretty major jump in performance and the Z50II is a big jump in terms of any sort of action shooting over any older DX body except the D500 (and there it's an exercise in trade-offs, the Z50II has notable advantages over the D500 in AF tracking, while the D500 has advantages in card performance and the relative lack of tradeoffs to get to 10fps).
I wonder if they will ever make a more professional DX body like the D500/600 was. This seems to be missing in the lineout.
I guess this is because the Z8/9 kind of covers it all.
