What a cool plant!
All taken with the Sony 90 2.8 G Macro lens on a A7III, full-spectrum converted but with a UV/IR internal filter to restore it to normal.
And I also discovered this little fella making it's chrysalis in my kitchen. The diamondback cabbage moth, hitched a ride on some kale I do believe…
This image was taken with the Laowa 25mm 2.5-5x ultra macro lens, with a shoe-mounted flash beaming forward but letting a little light down from above. A blend of a f22 or f16 shot with a focus-stacked set.
In regards to the purple flower photograph set: The first one, without the blacker background. I happen to prefer flowers with natural background colors, but additionally, this style of photo pops so much more (and adds dimension) with the water drops. That is lost with strobe/black background shots.
Canon R7 + 100L 2.8 Macro. This was 20 shots @ f/8 (hand held) using the R7's built in Focus Bracketing feature. It doesn't produce a great result every time, but this one turned out pretty well.
Unfortunately had a bird die in our yard. Same day as I got my new 70-200 f/4 Macro G II and 2X teleconverter. I'm really happy with the details in the feathers. Next time I'll try focus stacked with a tripod.

Here's a couple I recently took of the cicada invasion this spring. Neither are "true" macro shots, taken with the Canon RF 100-400, but I still like them.
Started looking at this thread the other day, and got the urge to do some macrophotography, so I messaged Harold (e6filmuser) who was ever so helpful. I then read a little in the extension tube thread, and purchased some extensions tubes (10mm, 16mm) off of Amazon. They came last night and I went to shooting today during work breaks just using natural light, trying to figure out this extension tube thing.
I have a Sony A7cII, and 3 native mount lenses (Batis 25/2, Batis 135/2.8, and a Sigma 45/2.8). I had quite a time trying to figure out what was going on, initially couldn't figure out how to focus. Sometimes I was too far, sometimes too close. I eventually put the a MS-Optic Apoqualia 28/1.7 m-mount lens on an adapter, with the extension tubes and got the most magnified views. I still don't know what I'm doing or how I'm doing what I'm doing though. It just works sometimes.
I'll keep playing, but probably should take notes on what's giving me what results.
