I am a beginner here.. I used Sony A7R IV + FE 55mm + Vello Extension Tubes (26mm)..
I think I should have lower the apertures on some of these shots.. Also, need to work on better composition.
Sorry, can anyone show me to how to show pictures in the body of the post? I am a noob.
First time using tubes, should of watched a couple video's on how to, and also read the first post in the tube thread, oh well. Now I know next time to stop down, I thought I had to keep it wide open. It was definitely a learning curve for me.

It's been a while since I've actually picked up my camera (teaching night classes, graduate school, and working overtime at my job have taken a toll on my free time)
But, I wanted to participate here as a fairly new macro shooter myself...
Here's one from last summer:
D500 - Sigma 150mm Macro - F8 - 1/200s - ISO 400 DSC_1411 by Logan Hall, on Flickr
I tried to capture this tiny flower hand held and this is the best I could do . Was using Tokina AT-X 90mm 2.5. Shot this wide open. My macro skills are zero to nill but I think this lens is fun. Makes my backyard sooooo much bigger.
