The first of 3 falls in about 800m. This first one is the highest at 207m (ca. 580ft).

Beautiful shot! The structure in the foreground really helps to put the size of the falls into perspective.

Hey Kevin,

A pretty cool looking shot, you ended up with what I think looks like a great shutter speed for that water. There is a sense of motion, but the falling water has a tapestry feel to it, like it's made of lace.

WOW is all that needs to be said. Spectacular in both the composition and the choice of shutter. My jaw is still hurting from hitting the floor.

I didn't know China has such a beautiful place!

Two comments:

1. Did you try cut out the branches on the top left to see whether it is better?

2. Would it look better if the pavilion is level?

Thanks.

Thank you Minzeli !

1. I didn't because it would reduce the impression on the viewer of the size and power of the waterfall.
2. I leveled the shot off the waterfall - it would look a bit off if the water was not falling straight down but at an angle

China has some spectacular scenery - I just wish I had the time and money to travel to them all

Take a look at this cave - absolutely immense and stunning photos :

Absolutely beautiful! I also agree with others that the shutter speed is bang on.

Damn this is nice! The vertical comp is great for this. I am on the same boat as Mingzeli, I cant decide if I like the branch on top or not. It does serve quite well as a framing element and leads the eye back down to the gazebo. Sweet image!

Very nice and unique!
Are sights like this close to the major cities, or do you travel to find them?
