Hey Kevin,
A pretty cool looking shot, you ended up with what I think looks like a great shutter speed for that water. There is a sense of motion, but the falling water has a tapestry feel to it, like it's made of lace.

1. I didn't because it would reduce the impression on the viewer of the size and power of the waterfall.
2. I leveled the shot off the waterfall - it would look a bit off if the water was not falling straight down but at an angle
China has some spectacular scenery - I just wish I had the time and money to travel to them all

Damn this is nice! The vertical comp is great for this. I am on the same boat as Mingzeli, I cant decide if I like the branch on top or not. It does serve quite well as a framing element and leads the eye back down to the gazebo. Sweet image!
