"This is old news. Although I had never seen any problem I had the fix applied in 30 minutes over the counter.
Current bodies already have the fix applied."
I find that interesting because I purchased my D810 in July, 2014, and my camera's S/N was one of the affected cameras. Does your camera have the black dot at the bottom?
I don't consider it "old news" when you just purchased the camera two months before the service notice.
I was just trying to be helpful to people who might not know about the service recall as well as curious if anyone else had experienced this problem.
Another lady on safari told me she has not gotten the Nikon notice as yet, and she had purchased her camera earlier than I purchased mine.
Hey there. I've been hanggin around fmf for couple of weeks now.
Until today I decided to join in the forum. What interest me most is this thread.
I've been using d300s for 4 years now. Been following the 'mystical d400' for so long.
Until I got so frustrated and gave up. Decided to get myself d810 instead.
One question thou. Does anyone take pictures with this camera with tamron 24-70mm f2.8 VC?

This may be a silly question, but what are you guys exporting these at, dimensions wise? In LR, or otherwise.
I normally export at the resolution my computer monitor is set to. If I plan on printing I will export it at it's full size. When posting here I normally post to flickr first and link it with the image at 1024.
