Latest image from the D810 in a high school stadium, poor lighting with a 400 2.8 @ 1/800th, F2.8 and ISO 8000. Processed in lightroom, basic adjustments along with added sharpening and noise reduction. This camera handles low light, in this instance amazing and probably better than my D3S. Group A/F tracks moving objects very accurately.
The D810 on a 12 minute exposure with a tracking mount. Shot at ISO 800 and what a beautiful file. My Canon gear would have never been able to do this. Not even close.Taken with the Nikon 14-24mm lens I have had several people tell me that there are too many stars in the picture Perhaps Canon shooters Thanks again Nikon!
I echo your enthusiasm. this is first body I consider close to perfection in every way as a tool. Only thing I need is improve my skill to match its capability.
