Mitch, clearly you are just stinking up this forum. The only parts of your images that are sharp are your subjects. Granted, you seem to be very lucky with your lighting and your subjects look pretty damned good because of it. Your really weak editing has a very pastoral style that is, well, okay, very pleasing to the eyes. Your shot of the water and rocks was obviously set on "Auto" mode or "Professional" mode cuz it's very clear it was a slow shutter speed making the moving water look... well, okay, very pleasing to the eyes. You're lucky you were using a tripod there.
You're really stinking this forum up. That's all I have to say.

Like all of these but my favorite would have to be image of your nephew and seascape at point lobos. Love Carmel, just wish it was closer.
Me too John, I could spend all day there just hiking and shooting. Thank you.

I bet you have a really nice camera. I hear that all the time and couldn't resist.
Fantastic set! Which lens / lenses did you use for these?
Thank you Sir. For the bokeh shots, I used a 200L at f2. The shot with my nephew is an 85L at f1.2. The wide angle seascape I used a 17-40L.

I love Point Lobos. In fact, we drove around Monterey almost into Carmel on Saturday.
That 200 f/2 man. You work it so well. Beautiful images.
Thank you, I appreciate it.

The BG's fantastic, oh and also the subject matter, great!
Thanks Glen!
These I really like! Something about your processing adds to the "softness" of the background. Obviously, the lens is creating a lot of the bokeh, but your color palette (and selective sharpening??) really adds to the shallow effect. Excellent.

You've inspired me Mitch. 200 f/2 on the way from CPS for a week evaluation. Before switching to Canon earlier this year, I had the Nikon 200 f/2 and miss the creamy bokeh for portrait work.

I did the same. I rented it first for a weekend and was blown away. Unfortunately, I had to sell my 70-200 and 50L just to be able to afford it. But no regrets.

I'm thinking a kidney and keep the 70-200 and 17 TS-E.
