Nicely done mate...Some are a bit hard to seperate the subjects from the background and foliage but over all a nice feel to them.

Both your girls have such light complexions that it is hard to get a good overall exposure on a picture. I have the same problem with my wife's mother. I don't think she has ever had a lick of sun in her 90 years.
They came out very well in spite of the problem.

This is a really nice series! I'm sure they love these. As for C&C, my only real suggestion is composition. Aside from 3 and 11, the subjects are centered in these shots. I don't think it's a hard fast rule that subjects are never centered, but I think you could have created more interesting compositions by utilizing the rule of thirds more.

Like I said, though, as it is, this series is fabulous! 11 is my fave.

Love the work, I agree with Dave. I would have a tendency to decease the brightness, and bump the contrast a bit.

Awesome photos! The Black and White of the girls is stunning.

I would hesitate to monochrome the last family shot though. Without the colour contrast they get lost a little bit in the busy foliage behind them but they're lit really well so take that with a grain of salt.

Fantastic set.

I am quite agree about the rule of third comments above.
Picture no 7 is my favourite - but I would make it a bit darker and open apperture wider to make the kids appear even more amazing in the middle of the forest.

I think the issue is less that the shots are centered than there is a lot of non-contributory negative space on the sides of many of these. One habit I have had for years is just sticking subjects on the 1/3, but not dealing with the fact that my comp just wasted a bunch of space...

That said, these are lovely family photos, and the expressions and interaction are very nice. Overall I enjoyed the set.

Very nice I would not have gone for the highlights but actually like it as it suits the subjects I learned something from this

They're really good. I think it would have a better impact if you only showed about half as many. But I understand why you did. I usually prefer BW but in this case I feel like those two don't really fit in with the rest of the series.
