Three shot stitch from the 180/4 APO CV at f/5.6 hand-held using my A7RII.
Taken during the sunrise from the climbers camp on the South side of Mt. Baker.
This for me has been a temperamental lens sharpness-wise, but it delivers on color and contrast. It's also smaller an lighter than my most excellent 180/3.4 APO Telyt, hence gets the nod when backpacking.

Also be sure to watch for the K-mount version. For some reason it seems to be a bit cheaper (even though it is rarer) and can usually be found for about $1199-$1399 on the low end (as of about 2 months ago). I was able to get mine for $899 last year, but it sounds like that isn't typical at all. If it comes without a hood the original hood runs about $100, just something to be aware of.
The Voigtlander Apo Lanthar 90mm f/3.5 SL II is one of my favourite lenses and without doubt the sharpest lens in my collection of Canon, Zeiss, Tokina, Irix & Sigma glass. The close up additional lens supplied with the 90mm gives brilliant macro shots.

I feel much the same about mine. I use it a lot for close-up stuff, and it's my go-to lens for tight portraits. The mechanicals are lovely, and i find it a joy to use even though it's MF.

Yup, I love mine. Razor sharp with great subject isolation.
