Thanks Zalmy.
DMac, I actually prefer the color and that's rare for me.
Jodo, really good documentation that I'm sure they love. I definitely suffer from not being in too many photos of my family, and you're helping solve that for your kids.
Here are a few from the last couple of nights:

Not the usual "stuffed and mounted" kid photos. I love letting kids be kids, and then shoot what they give you. Nice work.

Thanks! It is always nice to have a warm welcome.
I look forward to enjoying seeing more FPJ from you and others here in the future. It is usually my favorite photography of families and children to see.

I took the kids to Chapel Hill, Tx saturday for pictures.. I was taking pictures of my daughters when I turned to make sure my son was not running off... He was not far but so consumed in the things he had not seen before, I snapped a picture. I was glad I did that. I could almost picture the things running through his head as he explored. After this picture, I put the camera down. The girls and I just watched him play, looking back, I should have taken more candids. He is truly a gift from God. I always enjoy threads like these, I will have to post more of our day to day lives soon.
Nah, Chuck.. Excellent example for me. The joy of boyhood/brotherhood - interesting light and symmetry - and state of the art street toys which will look quaint in a few short years.

I used to take soooo many pictures when my first child was born. By the time the second was born and school starts somehow the enthusiasm wore off. This entire thread makes me want to shoot with my family immediately... and never stop. So many great moments... technical quality doesn't even matter.
