p.3 #4 · Ultimate Family Photojournalism Photo Thread
Greetings fellow FPJers. There was a great little write up on a really good family photographer over on the National Geographic Blog, Proof. The photographer does a really great job documenting daily life. I read the comments below and people were 'wishing they lived in the countryside so they can take such beautiful photos'. Where we live is ours and I think that is what is beautiful about family photojournalism. Own your reality...dont wish it were something else.

Loving this thread.
Good to see some family stuff Mitch. The angle in that last one has lots of potential, and would love to see someone in the left room to balance things out.
Ben, really like 1 and 5.
Chuck, looks like the family is loving the chiminea. The mix of cold and warm tones gives some nice context but I still prefer your b/w set from the other week (personal tastes lean that way in general).

Here are a few from the past month or so.
And by the way - I've been a reader (and poster) on the board for a while now, and I think these are just about the first pictures I've posted, other than a few random shots here and there. So much of what I do is family pictures around the house, and reading this thread and seeing other members' awesome photos has made me appreciate the absolute validity of those pictures, especially when I am taking them conscientiously.
