Congratulations to tfoltz for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 3 votes - View Previous Winners
Went out to one of the small local lakes to get in some shooting before
the rain, a rare treat for us these days in Southern CA. It could last until
next week sometime and we sure need it.
Ohhhhh Tim you are ever ever so close to the pinnacle of Osprey shots in a sequence buddy.
I find #1 thrilling x10! That is wickedly impressive and I love the angle of attack and the great eye shot, a blip later and the eye membrane would have covered up your good color. And speaking of color, this is excellent!! Wow this is intense and I bet there is not one single person near you that is pulling this off Or in front of you
#2 Geeeesh what an angelic wing pose and a display of panfish on the go!
#3 sweet pano with panfish
#4 that is a large wingspread buddy!
#5 remove that diagonal white line and its a winner Tim, looks as if the line is in front of the wings but I know its not? Optical illusion
Update..........I'm calling it your Holy Grail series and voting for top thread!!

Tim- these are really swell pictures .
Because I could never in 100 years get anything as good as any of these, I feel it's okay to ask what happened between #1 shot and #2 shot? Particularly splashdown.
I know you didn't take your finger off the go button. And as fast as these guys are, there is still plenty of time there.
But nobody ever seems to show that part of the sequence.
Is it because the pic quality isn't up to your justifiably high standards?
And please understand, I'm not up to my often-teasing pursuits.
I just really want to know.
Thanks, Tim.
And again, super-spectacular post!
