Not bad for your first visit. I never tire of shooting this place and miss it much this winter.
I would prefer to see the rest of the point to the right with a horizontal composition to show more of the nicely colored clouds, but the processing looks spot on with my monmitor at work.

I have some landscape orientations that get more of the point and with some open water but the colors were not nearly as nice as this (mostly just yellow). I'll hopefully post a few more.

Stunning...colors are fantastic! Love the layered sky look. Unless my eyes deceive me, the blue adds to the waters/ice reflection colors and hue. Magical!

-12F is for sissies, but what a fantastic image. Love how the blue sky contrasts with the yellow/orange. It would be too much orange (for me) without it.
ALL worthwhile! Gorgeous capture - and I also think cropping out about a third of the blue sky, maybe to a 8x10 crop, would balance the composition. In any case its a wall hanger for sure!
