Amazing picture. I don't think I've ever seen lake superior that calm, but it definitely helps the picture. Would be interesting to see the same picture on a cloudy day with some white caps.

Being a Minnesota person and having been there numerous times I have to say that is one of the best pictures I've ever seen of Splitrock Lighthouse, and there are thousands.

I have attempted to get a good shot of Splitrock a couple of different times, and always look at other people's shots.

That said, this is absolutely the best one yet!!

Congratulations on getting a fantastic image, not to mention your excellent timing at catching it with such a great sky.

I surely do hope you make or get a wallhanger sized print on this one.
