Wrapping up the portrait session this fall with a wedding couple and they out of the blue mention they want to do a "running away from something" shot. I laughed. I always wanted to do something like this, be it cliche or not, and the wedding party was perfect for this. Quickly assessed the area for the right background, and put everyone in place. Next time I do this, I'll be sure the B&G are not looking at the camera, and I'd want the groom looking back and up.
Just thought I'd share this with you guys. Comments welcome.
Ron, this was a good idea and I think you did a good job on it. Yes, maybe next time you might get several shots with the B&G looking towards the uninvited guest or maybe toward one another. Just get several different ones. I think there is nothing really wrong with the shot you did. I love the idea. Keep up the good work.
lol. These are my favorite. It's a decent shop, probably better than I could ever do. Seems a little off though. You know, cause of some of the pixels and from seeing many shops in my time. haha
Great fun. Have only one suggestion that would dramatically change the photo. Have the Rex's eyes looking right down at the couple. Just take the eyeball and bring it down to the right position. It would be appropriate and would focus on the couple as all wedding photos should. And create a real tension in the concept of them running for their lives with a monster coming after just them.

Nice! I didn't even consider that. I'll make that change. Thanks for the suggestion!
