We welcomed our son Cole into this world on 11/15/2013 @ 11:42pm and its been one heck of a ride so far (the good kind) and even though me and mom are exhausted we couldn't be more happy. We have received so much advice from so many different types of people but none of it really makes any sense until the little one is actually born and in our hands.
I documented the birth as much as I could with out being too intrusive but still documenting since its such an immersive experience. I put the camera down when it came down to the "push" time and I even was allowed to help pull my son out which was such an amazing experience.

10. Finally at home
Finally got around to taking and posting his formal newborn shots. I decided to jump in front of the camera for a few (even though he looks nothing like me I still love him like no other)

11. Helping dad test out the lighting for his big debut
thank you so much everyone, i am so glad I got these shots in when I did. babies grow up so fast and though hes only 3 weeks old now, he looks so different than he did on the day he was born and even the day we took these shots. Makes me realize how important it is to document their growth while they are young.

I look here on a regular basis, but I rarely log in, had to get my password emailed to do it because I had to say how cute these photos are. They are brilliant !!
