Werner, that is perfect having a M star chef as best friend. My son is a good chef but no star
Bob, good luck with your new setlement. Looks more relaxing when your done. Must say I always like your cityscapes from Minneapolis. Got the feeling i really got to know your city through your pictures.
Ronny, great as always but especially the last one is extremly confronting!
Ice322, really like your long exposures from Rotterdam.
I am still here in Normandy (building a second bathroom BTW)
In two weeks the Tour de France will pass right along our house.
Mmmm, pollen...but crab spiders take prey as large as honeybees.

Raven...nice macro with the CV 125. How does it balance on the A7x?
--Thank you, Gregg. Not even in my dreams could I handhold a MF macro like Ronny. All of my CV125+A7x work is done on tripod via an LAEA3 adapter which has an Arca mounting foot, so balance never comes into play.
Werner...superb portrait! Great depth(of character!)..
Bob...very, very nice! And the images too! When do we get an invite to the lake house??
Ice...very nice bridge images.
Ronny...you are a patient man!! Very awesome macros!
Michiel...your tempting me with the 100 Planar. Love the image.
Raven...nice macro with the CV 125. How does it balance on the A7x?
Rene...nice Turbo(!!) pic Love the PP..

Great work! These last few pages are inspiring and instructive. Thanks to everyone. Bob -congrats on the move! Show us some IR from your new location.
I don't have IR but I appreciate it and I love the occasional B&W work. The B@W by Werner, Rene and others on this thread demonstrates that you don't need a Leica M Monochrome to do outstanding work.
Amazing shots! I wonder if I can achieve something decently close with a cheaper macro lens like a Canon FD 100mm macro. Now that I have the A7ii I have been toying with the idea of trying macro again.
@Mike Reid - beautiful shot! What focal length was used for this shot? And does this image have distortion correction? Just curious... Would love to rent this lens to play with.

Aurora, yes; gravity waves, no! If gravity waves, you have shot something the best scientists have yet to find...
It is, however, a nice picture.

No, this is really what they are! Gravity waves aren't the same as gravitational waves. Gravity waves are a topic in fluid dynamics rather than fundamental physics or relativity.
Here's a few from a recent concert. The group is Mono, an instrumental rock from Japan. They're music is emotional, full of lulls, crescendos, and sometimes noise. If that's your sort of thing, it's an experience to watch them perform.
