Sigma 21-35 f/3.5-4.? (first version, Pentax K mount, I'm reasonably confident this lens is more than slightly broken, but seems fine stopped all the way down at 21mm. Not sure I'll be using it much longer though.)
This is wide open, I believe at 21mm.
Here are some image taken last evening at the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens. Images processed in LR6 and for the later 2 images were taken 1 evening before the full moon.

Ronny - I don't know how you catch these little critters at high magnification, great dof and sharpness, clean files and a heavy manual focus lens.
I can't imagine that a tripod works with bees……
One day you will have to share your secrets!
Handheld with flash is the way to go with these critters, though Ronny made it seem to be easier than it is. Tripod-bound is too cumbersome and should be relegated to re-production work.
Jack...love the 2 images last page!
Michiel...really, really nice Summicron pics.
Rich...that 40mm looks really sharp. It draws really nice, too!
Ronny...as always, your macros set the level for all of us to try and strive for. (Usually with little luck!!)
Bob...the Lake??!! Very cool! Looking forward to those pics!
A few more recent Summilux 50 E46 pics. This lens will most likely be on my A7rM for quite awhile.
