Really starting to like this lens!
I did not expect it to be as sharp as it is wide open.
And it draws just as beautifully as i expected.
BTW: in these series, my second son Todd 16 months.
Haha, yes, and it is not even mine... Yet, the Basso name refers to both my own and an Italian cyclist's name, Ivan Basso, and was given to me by a friend when we were still passionate cyclists training almost each day...
I absolutely love the 90mm images and your son is handsome. I may get that 90mm if you continue to post such images. Can you share the lens details/PM me.

Haha, I must agree with you, this is such a dangerous thread...

Very nice.
I'm mostly a prime shooter, but there are some times (trips) that I really want a zoom in my bag. Despite some of the negative feedback (and the price) I was planning on eventually picking up the 24-70, but some of the recent shots I've seen with the kit lens have me considering it instead.
It has been such a pleasure viewing all these outstanding photographs. There are so many that are literally breathtaking, and so many amazing photographers.
Here are three reflections of/on sunset. They are all shot on the A7 with the Vario Tessar 24-70, a lens I am not sure I'm going to keep. It's quite versatile, but . . . is it worth it? It is certainly better than the kit zoom.
Amazing shots eveyone!!!
Greg, congrats on the wonderful 50 Lux Pre-Asph. Beautiful rendering!
Charlie, love your shots with the 50 Cron IV. Another Mandler classic
