Helena and Tariq thank you very much
Helena, love the beautiful tonality with the B&W shots!
Rene, stunning shots!
Hi Tariq. I am not sure and only the first time I have seen it. With the Loxia 50 and FE 35/1.4, I am just experimenting with shooting in the sun as both lenses give off star light bursts.

Great images Charles. Just curious, is the grid-like green dots in the first shot due to some sort of sensor reflection? I have seen something similar in a few Sigma DP taken into the sun.
It is, I believe it's off the sensor and the cover glass, I'm guessing the regular pattern is an interaction with the micro lens array, something new for Sony to keep an eye on when designing sensors.
Michiel...another awesome shot of the abandoned town. You could probably spend days shooting there! Very cool!
Charles...very nice starburst switch the Loxia. What camera is your wife holding? A7s? You guys don't go to the beach much do you
Helena...as Charles put it-incredible bw's! You really know how to make those C/Y lenses sing!
Rene...can you please print out a 40x30 of your last shot for me and send it?? An absolute wall hanger no doubt!!
Heaven...Canon dream lens? It it the 50 .95?? I like the awesome funky bokeh!
Philber...thanks for the kind words! Still getting used to the 50 Lux E46...it really is a fantastic lens.

Yes it is. Got it completed DAG'ed and its now my only lens on the Sony A7. When i need absolute sharpness i head to my 135 APO. Now the 85L sits idle and i am even thinking of getting rid of the 85 to get the summilux 75
A big fan for character lens than critical sharpness.
I'm seriously looking at adding this lens as well, I have the Zeiss Distagon 15 ZE but I'm looking for a smaller alternative . Do you see any corner colour cast from this lens on the A7R?
Like the first one especially. The composition: the road, the curve, the horizon, the clouds, and the bushes (grasses?) along the road all work together to create an outstanding whole. The picture works well in B&W, with the highlights on the plants drawing the viewer through the image.

ZM 35 f:1.4 on A7R. Do I love this lens! The first one f:2.8, the next 2 wide open.
And amazing work on this thread. Much too much to congratulate all the deserving ones, but René, stands out in my memory, with his snow shots, and Helena with her amazing bow shot of the concrete freighter (though the profile one is also most worthy), and Charles, and Ronny, and...
Those are great Philber, as are so many of the others like Rene's striking snow scenes and Helena's concrete ship. There are still plenty of concrete yachts afloat today, but they are generally less obviously concrete than Helena's ship.
Some more beech trees in the mist but now with a few leaves:
