Ronny...good luck with the new to you Contax glass!! I think...no, I know you'll love them and look forward to your pics with them. Especially the "Hollywood". I think you'll really love the 35-70/3.4. Absolutely one of my fav lenses of all time, bar none!
Bob...the Planar makes a great walk-around and never fails to produce great images!
And to everyone else-superb images from all the usual posters and some new ones, too! This thread never ceases to amaze!
And, a couple with the ZM 35/2 Biogon

An intimate portrait of Bladderpod (Isomeris arborea), a very common S. California shrub. Finding the beauty within its chaotic tangle takes some time.
I do not use the Voigtlander 75/2.5 as much as I should since most of the time I have the Voigtlander 40/1.4 glued to my a7s. But every time I do put the 75 on, it always surprises me.

I had the Revuenon 55 1.2 briefly. Very nice lens. Much smaller and lighter than the Rokkor. I agree with Derek, the Rokkor overall was better. Stopped down though, the Rokkor was much better. Wide open it was pretty close, if I remember correctly with the Rokkor a little creamier, while the Revuenon was a tad sharper. The Revuenon also had 9 blades, too.
Here are a few more ZM 50 Planar shots.

Thanks Gregg. Yes the Revuenon is actually the same lens, as you probably know already but others may not. I certainly wouldn't be using the Cosina for landscapes, not that strong in the corners/edges however it's quite sharp even wide open in the centre and stronger still stopped down very slightly to f2 or so, it has a nice glow plus it's treatment of specular highlights at night is wonderful. I have to use if more for portraits because I think it should do well.
Test c/Y 28 f2
wide open.. coronersharpness is not so god.. have to learn to use it properly and fokus right
but I don´t now yet
Thought this lens was to similar performance as the Contax 28 f2.8
Thanks Samuli who explained it a bit more

Lots of character.
In deed, the wide sides don't look so good. Did you correct destortion? I don't think so as can be seen on the rain pipe on the left in th 1e pic.
A real cine lens (Hollywood). Great for city/people/night shots I think.
I don't remember Michiel.. it's a difficult lens that I didn't learned today where I should put the focus ..
wideopen (even 5.6- f8) the coners are terrible if I put the focus in the middle in the picture

I like to shoot fast lenses WO, so the lenses I own I usually don't stop down--I'll pick up a small cheaper lens if I want to shoot slower. But the Rokkor 58 1.2 is fine WO for an older lens, but at F2 it's just lovely. So creamy, wonderful balance of saturation and sharpness. Especially flattering for people. I haven't shot the Revuenon, but isn't the bokeh pretty busy WO, like my rokkor?
Couple photos from Iceland .. ran into a couple folks from Thailand filming for a TV program there. Talked to them for a little bit then they wanted to interview us lol. Pretty interesting. Ran into them again at a different waterfall we went to the next morning.
