Bob...great series in both sets. Jack...I have to admit, I really like the colors and feel to the OOF shot.
Here are a few shots with the ZM 50 Planar

Yesterday I mentioned how much I've loved seeing the Rokkor 55/1.2 posts in this thread, and Sebboh's were the latest in a long line. However I have the Cosina 55/1.2 so I need to decide if I want to keep that one or sell it for the Rokkor.
Here are the first few from today's walk with my dog, around the compound in Shanghai where I live :
The first and the last here show the Cosina treatment of specular highlights (the reason I bought this lens) the best.
i've seen comparisons of the two lenses once or twice (i think Gregg may have had both at the same time?).
my general impression was always that the rokkor has a bit more contrast, resolution towards the corners, and a bit smoother bokeh (not always desired).
Three photos from this afternoon. First two shots - A7s with Contax Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 C/Y. Lots of pop and Zeiss goodness at a bargain rate. Third shot with Minolta AF 100 Macro with an inexpensive ULATA adapter.

Derek and Kevin.
I had the Revuenon 55 1.2 briefly. Very nice lens. Much smaller and lighter than the Rokkor. I agree with Derek, the Rokkor overall was better. Stopped down though, the Rokkor was much better. Wide open it was pretty close, if I remember correctly with the Rokkor a little creamier, while the Revuenon was a tad sharper. The Revuenon also had 9 blades, too.
Here are a few more ZM 50 Planar shots.

Outstanding shots! Are you talking about the Rokinon 14mm on these?
Mike
first 3 are with the rokinon, last shot with some junk lens
I had the bower 14, which I sold off because my brother had a newish rokinon he gave me..... a bad mistake, his copy is slightly decentered, and has huge field curvature, not sure if that's because of the decentering. However, when stopped down and properly focused, this thing is amazing on the a7r, SOOOOO sharp.

I have a copy of the 14/2 and this really inspires me to start using it more. I do get the huge field curve on mine too on the A7 but not so much on the A6000 or Nikon D7000. Mine is a Nikon mount. Thanks!
