You know...Derek knows a way to make the MD 35-70/3.5 into a f2.8 lens. I'm not sure how, but he was mentioning there's a way. We'll have to get him to tell us how!

A frosty spring morning in the polder near Breukelen (or Brooklyn as English speakers call it). Again the standard eye cup proved to be insufficient, at least for someone with glasses. Note to self - bring the Minolta cup next time.....
A friend and I went out looking for northern lights recently. The numbers weren't great and ended up tanking, so we made the best of a frigid night and hung out at the beach for a while...
More fabulous shots above, love the polder landscapes in particular.
Thanks for the amazing number of "likes" for my earlier lamb shots. I wonder what they are whispering to each other in these?.............(psssst its that idiot with the camera again!)

Wow, those ZM18 shots look great on the A7.M . . . wonder how it would work on a A7II unmodified, maybe better than the stock A7?
Hi Bob,
They are pretty decent on the edges, not quite at m9/240 level but much closer.
A7II, as you know is the same sensor as A7. Unmodified the ZM 18 had good centers but the edges much less so, though of all UWA RF lenses it was one of the better ones.
Here is the same lens before mod on A7: DSC00897 by unoh7, on Flickr
These are the first images taken late this afternoon with my tripod mounted A7r and my "new" Leica M 90mm f2.5 Summarit lens; images taken along Loch Valley Road in New Tripoli, PA and processed in LR5.7.1
Thank you. These are not OOC. I did have to work these a bit in LR. First thing that I did with these files was to adjust the WB to shade. I worked from there. But, the camera and the Leica lenses have tremendous latitude to process the images. Yes the lens does appear to be quite sharp. I do however normally increase the clarity of 14 in LR before shrinking the image in Photoshop to post to the web. Images were taken at either f5.6 or f8 to try to maintain at least some degree of DOF.
A view from Mont St. Michel, France. Those are people walking out on the sand during low tide. The last is a seven image panorama all with the FE16-35/4
