Thx Werner and philber. I don´t know if there was some security outside. We were there before one year when some parts of gardens were under construction and most of statues were covered. After the sunset most visitors leaved this place and me and my wife were last ones
Photos like this are for my personal use but if I would like to sell it over some image stock agencies I don´t know if I need some concession or something like this. When you shoot models there is model release but when you shoot famous buildings like this or Eiffel tower, etc is there some restriction?? It´s not only in France but famous buildings in other cities. Philber wrote "professional rights are sold and cost a bomb." From which institution you´d buy these rights? Talking about the Eiffel tower I read in the past that enlightened Eiffel tower is copyrighted instead of the Eiffel tower with lights switched off but don´t know if it´s true. I remember that there was a strong security on the Arc de Triomphe where tripods were strictly prohibited and my tripod hanging on the bag irritated them too
I hope you forgive one OT shot with MFD cam from the same place.. Versailles Pallace.
I wasn't overly impressed with my work the other night, a couple of images I really liked and this one just about made the cut. A7 & Zuiko 24/2.8 at (I think) f8 , ISO 100, 10 secs. I have to say the Zuiko is impressively sharp though - the 1:1 are excellent !

Nice work on this and preceeding pages!
Two views of the Minneapolis Institute of Art nicely lit at night.
Bob,the second photo could be used as the archetypal imaging of the way to Canossa.Looking at that I virtually feel like German Emperor Henry the 4th and prefer to be The Pope Gregory the 7th waiting at the top instead!
Flu,40 deg Celsius, fever, and far from being well too (like,Napoleon,Julius Cesar and Mark Twain, the very accurate author of the above statement..Or ,shall I name myself the Albert Schweitzer of the times, infected by too many sick patients in the unknown land of potentially deadly diseases, that I wanted to help?
Shots with the Loxia 35/2 and 35 Lux FLE on the A7II. I really like the Loxia 35, but I think I prefer the "organic" look with the 35 Lux FLE in high contrast lighting. Both shots at f/8.0. Also I will test again once I have my A7r back from Kolarivision
