Bob, lovely cat and nice bokeh for your next new entry
Here a super minimal sunset taken with Sony-Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8...
Question guys: in these vertical shots and in some others, always vertical and in a big backlight, I've noticed a kind of vignetting in the extreme corners... seems to me more a shadow of small E mount hole. Anyone has explanation about this phenomenon? Thanks in advance.
Manuel
Inside/Outside - It always amazes me watching people cycle when it's around zero degrees Farenheit.
Can be done, but requires clothing at a price level of a Loxia 2/35 and the cold will not harm you.
Assuming that you mean Fahrenheit indeed, which is close to -18 Celsius.
My outdoor cycling stops at 23F or -5C
I like the picture and how the Loxia deals with the light conditions.

Werner, I'm very impressed by your images with this lens. I would be interested to know what adaptor you are using (metabones?), and how practical you are finding it to use on your Sony, particularly hand-held. I'm contemplating one for landscape use, but its quite an outlay...

Thanks, John
John, i am using a Metabones Smart IV adaptor with all my Canon E lenses. I had the version III before and there is no big difference with the 24 TSE. The A 7 in combination Metabones/ E lens works great. IS is working as is AF but really slow, i always focus manual with magnification. Aperture is controlled in cam, Exifs in the files.
You can use the TSE handheld with the EVF level activated quite easy. My last shots shown here are with tripod.
What you have to consider is size and weight with the Canons + adaptor (no problem for me).

W.
