My workflow with the A7r/s is very similar to that I had with the M9/M240. I work in LR as it has an excellent cataloging system, and when needed for finer adjustment a quick export in CS6 and I then generally work in Lab colour space for contrast and colour. Once complete saved, and back in Lr automatically. For all B&W work, I use SEP II, and I really like the Film Noir 1 settings for toning and rich blacks. I turn off everything else in the Film Noir 1 settings, and adjust from there. I have tried a lot of other programs/presets but I still think that SEP II is my preference
If the PP'ing takes too long, I lose interest, so the complete workflow takes about 1 min per shot.
Here's the same photo with the Noir 1. Pretty much all turned off as well. Just some pre process to flatten the image before SEPII and also some after process in LR for the blacks.
Amazing shots everyone!!
Another street portrait,Tainan. Lr/CS6 then SEP II
Nampramos, I am really liking the B&W conversions with the A7s. The B&W conversions with the A7s require almost no PP'ing.
Charles, nampramoss - please excuse my ignorance, but what is SEPII (googling was no help) - I also ask b/c of your great images
Thanks in advance - David

Just back from another two weeks on Washington State's Olympic Peninsula/Olympic National Park, and find almost 20! new pages to catch up on. It's a labor of love for sure! Thanks to every photographer who shared his/her work here.
Here are a pair of road landscapes (roadscapes?) from the Queets rainforest. Both with A7 & Leica WATE.
#1 Queets campground as the road passes an old growth spruce.
#2 Main road. Even at 21mm a two frame focus stack was needed to keep the fern sharp + infinity DOF.
Took my latest purchase to town tonight.
I am always amazed with DR of the A7.
Less so with the sensor flare and the six aperture blades of the lens...
