Fall migration for hummingbirds will start ramping up in a couple of weeks, but I am already seeing more than normal, and I have had this first one here since April. I finally caught him in close.
Flower heavy, and these are dahlias of various types. Images taken at the Fort Bragg Botanical Gardens. If you're ever in the area, this is definitely worth the price of admission

A little background...I've been a Sony shooter for years (started with RX1) before jumping to L brand, now I'm back to Sony. This Loxia 35mm is a gem of a lens IMHO. Back then I consider this lens to be sub par performance lens, but after shooting with L brand for few years now I appreciate such lens so much, apart from having character, coming from M this lens is sharp!

Thank you very much Piotr, much appreciated.

But this doesn't show up after I send Reply.
Next I will post the same files from my old iPad.
BTW, the files I copy reside on Smugmug and not on my computer. To be clear.
Painted bunting male, looking a little roughed up from breeding season. I should see several of these over the next couple of weeks as they pass through, headed to their wintering grounds in Mexico.
