I was sitting in the library looking at what I thought was a relatively clean window and when the sun poked up over the moantain and hit the window this appeared. I'm not sure how this happened. We've had some pretty big windstorms and speculate that the bird got blown into the window sideways and the oil on it's feathers created the outline.

Birds fly into windows regularly, especially if very clean and clear.
Sony GM 100/2.8 Macro was sitting redundant on my shelf for 3 months,so I decided to take it out of the early spring stroll at last. The lens is tack sharp overall both as a macro and regular short tele.Pairing with 1,4xTC renders no discernible differences in IQ.Even with 2xTC it is still very good.

Of course, but usually they fly straight into the window and are either stunned for a few minutes or they break their necks.
What I find unusual here is it looks like the bird was pressed against the glass sideways.
