Beautiful images! I'm glad to see someone else is using the Voigtlander 35/1.2 Nokton.
Thanks Eric! It's still one of my favorite lenses, it just has such a nice rendering to it at wider open apertures and bitingly sharp stopped down! And so lightweight for an f/1.2 lens.

The old town of Bruges or Brugge in Belgium...
Very nice, Joshua! Funny I was just checking out the photography spots in Brugge, in preparation of my possible trip to the airshow in Belgium in Sept. If I end up going, Brugge will be the only place I want to see and have time to see during the trip.

Wow, you airshow passion will take you to Belgium, huh? Impressive!
Brugge is quite touristy and crowded during the day, especially in the center of town. In the summer though, most tourists left before dinner time but the lighting became actually gorgeous and the town appears almost deserted... The best shots I got were taken after dinner, again, due to the sweet lighting and sky. It didn't get dark until about 10:30PM. Brussel is another interesting city and worth visiting, in my opinion.

Beautiful cityscape, Joshua. I enjoy the ancient European towns much more so than their cities, with the exception of Prague and Porto. Last year when I flew to Denmark for the air to air shoot, I spent a night in a charming old town called Ribe, got my sunset and sunrise shots. I think it's pretty much like Brugge, very pretty and touristy, dead after dinner time. If I take the trip to Belgium in Sept for the airshow, I will probably spend the last evening and the following morning in Brussel to look around, exactly what I did in Copenhagen last year, just a few mandatory shots in the tourist locations.
Nothing is final yet. I may bring the A1 and the A1II, the CV 15, Sony 24-70 GM II for the tourist stuff, the 100-400 GM and the 300 GM for the airshow, and the infrared Canon R5. Being Asian, I am fascinated by the charming small European cities and towns. The palaces, museums, cathedrals in big cities are nice but they are not really my thing, I am a deplorable hillbilly.
