Hope the kitty enjoyed the once in a life time snow in your neck of woods! Crazy to see Pensacola, FL got a couple inches of the white stuff too!
After reading that 95% of the upper part of the Chesapeake Bay was ice-covered, I headed to my favorite place for sunrise to grab some shots. I saw it 100% ice-covered some years ago.
In the 3rd and 4th shots you can see the remnants of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed after the main pillar was stuck by a cargo ship 10 months ago, in the last picture, in front of the ship, I believe are the remnants of the main pillar.

Thank you! That was taken by Skukuza about a half a mile from camp heading towards the Paul Kruger Gate. However I just arrived in Satara - I’ll be here for the next 3 nights which is more wild dogs and lions around here than leopards.

Great capture, Robert! Where are you exactly right now? Mala Mala camp in Sabi Sands? Leopards country for sure...
The winter is too warm, everything has melted, but the ice still allows you to walk around Stolobny Island, where the Nilov-Stolobenskaya Hermitage is located.
