Outburst of the autumn colours and rapidly changing dramatic sky.
Somehow I missed your posts here Peire!
This is Poland?
I came to Maryland via Iowa(1957) where it was horizon to horizon fields of grain, corn, grain silos and cattle. Low banks of clouds just making the view so wonderful!

Great shot of Mill Creek Falls, Steve! I like the prospective. The colors are definitely better than when I was there last Friday.
A few from two weeks ago when I was shooting with Steve in WV.
Thanks Douglas! The light, especially the backlight, really popped the colors yesterday afternoon. Currently the colors locally below 3,000' can be pretty good, especially when backlit. I love your take on the foggy, moody morning we had at Blackwater a couple weeks ago! Steve

Thanks for the trip here!
Wonderful!

Thank you Daniel for your kind words.Yes.This is South-Western Poland.Lower Silesia. My region.
It is a beautiful and varied land. In the south there are mountain ranges and forests, which towards the north turn into hilly lowlands full of fields where grains, corn, rapeseed and potatoes reign supreme, as well as other, rarer crops - for example, recently more and more vineyards have been established here, producing excellent wines - white and rose. There is also no shortage of picturesque, very old villages, towns, cities, rivers and ponds. This is the border area between Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic. Full of old traces of the culture and existence of these nations for the last 1100 years.
I took some of these photos on the way. I was returning home from one of my jobs. I didn't even have to get out of the car. The rest comes from my local Botanical Gardens and some ivy-covered old farm. The sky was beautiful, the sunlight extraordinary and the earth was a harmonious complement to the sky.

Thank you very much indeed Dan! GM2 85/1.4 is still a new lens to me.An excellent, benchmarch 85/1.4 lens.Yet I decided to keep GM1 85/1.4 too,for it's superior bokeh and ability to render pictures more painterly under some circumstances.

I love fast lenses too! Sadly the fastest lens in Sony stable is the excellent GM 50/1.2 only.I would like to see something longer, like 85-105mm with f1.2.I got some faster/equally fast lenses, like Voigtlander 50/1.2,Voigltander 35/1.2,Voigtlander 50/1.0 and Zonghyi 50/0.95,but they are all standard/wa fls.Not short teles.
