A few from around the Opera House captured over 2 mornings...
Joshua - great photos - love urban street scenes w/o the people - i was there 12/31/23 for the NY Eve Gala - i don't have many things on my bucket list but "fireworks over the Opera house" has always been one of them - it exceeded every expectation and highly recommended - black tie dinner, opera performance and then out on the terrace for front row seats to the real show - felt like being inside a snow globe!

Thank you very much, Eric! I am glad you like those images. What a great experience you had there!
So, the "package" is about to be delivered, huh? I am sure that both of you are excited about the addition to the family.

These look like something I can only see in NASA IMAX movies! Was it considered strong even for you guys in Norway?
Oslo where I live is actually not a good place for auroras, the geomagnetic pole is closer to America so you can probably subtract 10 degrees from the latitude to get to a comparable place. Need a KP index of 5 before it can be seen at all, and 8 is the lowest which is characterized as high activity.
That being said, I believe this was the strongest I have ever seen. I have not done much aurora photography though, but I stayed a year in the army in northern Norway before that, so I saw it frequently then. I think this was the first time I see a corona.
In particular never seen such strong reds before. This is taken just outside the city with a lot of light pollution and the aurora was brighter than the the clouds lit by the city during the 2 main sub storms I saw.

Thank you Steve! I was going to wait at Lindy Point for northern lights on Friday night but the forecast didn't look good so I headed home.
From West Virginia yesterday.
I totally missed this Douglas! Not usually a Sony forum peeper..
Great images. My 3 trips into WV all had very different results as far as "foilage color". Just in Harpers Ferry it is slow...Martinsburg...at peak...Winchester, VA and Paw Paw, WV peak..!
Great images!

Sony A9
Just BEAUTIFUL!!!
I dont know if you use Adobe Ps but they have a new tool that will take out the power/telephone cables with just a stroke! Just a latest version of PsCC/BrCC/CRcc. I haven't had time to really view it but the "new version" view was great!

Thank you, Dan!
I only use LRc but I think it has the object removal now. I'll try it out.
