Very nice, Peire! Is it the 100mm? I haven't touched mine for a while. I also bought the 50mm but I think I prefer the 100mm.
Thank you Douglas.Yes,it's 100mm.I forgot to mention that.It is in use very seldom, but I keep it as sometimes there is a need for something different.,I also look around for 50/2.8 Mk2,but it's not available for some time now.Mitakon 50/0,95 is serving interim as a weird 50mm lens.
Some hummers from the last two days. They will be around here for maybe 3 more weeks so the hummer season for me is wrapping up. They are so much fun to watch.

Males are always to first to leave. We are just getting ready to start and they will be here well into October.
This is the same bird from two different POV. The garden area where I stalk them is the last shot.
This year I haven't been able to photograph an adult male, I have seen one but didn't get to take pictures. Last year was much better. Recently I have seen a few juvenile males with a few red/orange spots developing on the neck.
I've been playing with some other brands (Nikon Zf and Fuji GFX 100s II, but just keep coming back and picking up my a7rV. Love elements of all the cameras but this thing just seems to do everything so well. I need to just keep this and pick up a second body for the times when I have the "itch". I guess that's where Leica would come in if I could just see a little better!
Finding it tough to find a place to host these images, both are 16 shot pixel shift images. Had to save them at quality 9 to get them under the limit at Zenfolio.

Lovely work as always Douglas !!! This year has been different for me as well. The hummers seem to ignore the flowers for the most part and prefer the feeder . Will miss them as well.
