CV 35/2 APO, pretty reliable at f6.3, not much gets past this one. North Tasmania, a place called Campbell Town, very rustic. I want to add something else re this lens - it produces an extremely 'linear' character to its images. It has a very flat field, low distortion and the same level of resolution everywhere. Every part of the frame looks exactly like it should, the spatial placement of objects relative to each other is close to perfect. Such attributes are not exactly necessary for much of photography. But they are not nothing either..it's made my work easier, certainly.

This has a very "commanding" feel to it. Not sure if it's the right way to describe it.
Hummingbirds from my garden last week.
Thanks Douglas ! Lovely set of the hummers. I’ll bet you are having fun with the new lens and the hummers . I am dreaming of that lens !

For many Tibetans, proximity to their sanctified religious sites, usually built right into the earth itself, is more a connection with and affirmation of the core of their culture than worship as we understand it. Here, this crop shows the friendly women making tea outside this (very) ancient cave temple. Full image follows. (CY 35-70/3.4)
