How are you liking the Lux 50 Asph on the A7r?
At close/mid distance Lux 50 is almost as good as CV Nokton 50/1.5 ASPH LM. Well, they maybe equal but Lux's optical corrections that are embodied in its price tag don't really show off that well (and some may say 'try it on Leica RF' and I say I am working on samples with M240 and A7R)
I feel that for portraiture Nokton wins with its classic, more subtle look. I find Lux 50 much better stopped down at further distances, but in CV defence it was apparently designed for closer range and WO performance.
Jack...Incredible image above. It really pulls you in!
And once again, I'm posting behind you! Home from Hawaii, and finally did some actual PP work...and not on my iPhone
CV 50 Nokton, as a matter of fact!

Very nice Carsten. 12mm on FF is a real challenge to make an image something other then a little unwordly.

Yes, but on the other hand, I liked it so much that I used it almost exclusively that day! I normally drift towards the Zeiss ZF.2 21/2.8, but this place really needed something wider. Very nice lens, usably sharp everywhere from wide open, and with acceptable vignetting and not too much colour cast in the corners. I will try to make a Lightroom profile for it, or maybe see if there is one out there, but really, for much of what I do, I can do without. Perfectionists will disagree though, and outside or with white backgrounds the profile may be necessary.
