So, my apologies for most of my above images...one FM'er just pointed out that they're not critically sharp. The files are pretty small once transferred from my A7 to my iPhone. I probably should have just waited until I got home to process them on my computer....
Oh well...

I agree with Ronny that these are very good and should be excellent with proper processing. The last one is fantastic and should be a real show piece. The first one you will probably need to lift the shadows a bit (they are quite dark for me tastes), but I love the composition. So don't worry about the pp for now. I sure they will turn out great. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your trip.

Thanks Steve...
And I still have ton to PP when I get home, too. Going to refrain from anymore until then...

How do you like the Rokkor 24mm 2.8 on your A7, Peire? I own the same lense and have used it only for a few hours on my A7 so far. Here's a shot stopped down to f/8 i think:
The 24/2.8 MD W. Rokkor 55mm fares better on the A7 than on 5N/7 NEXes.It has nice Minolta/Leica color rendition, very good sharpness across the frame with (almost) no corner smearing at f8 and distortions well under control.I have also the MC W.Rokkor SI 55mm and late MC W.Rokkor without "SI" lettering. They are pretty much the same, save the earliest SI has slightly less contrast and a tad less richer colour saturation versus the other two.
Thanks, Peire. This corresponds with my experience with this lens. The Rokkor is nice wide open or slightly stopped down with pleasing bokeh on my NEX-5N but stopped down not so much.
How do you like the 16-35 f/4 OSS? I think these are the first shots I have seen with that lens. How big is it? It isn't listed on the Sony site yet, so I haven't even seen the specs.

I think it is taken with the new Canon 16-35mm f4 L via a smart adaptor.
It's Cal, actually....The lens is the Canon EF 16-35/4 L IS with the Metabones IV. I'm very pleased with it. Works great on both the 6D and the A7. It isn't small, but like the newer Canon lenses it's lighter than it looks. It balances nicely on the A7, focuses reasonably quickly and provides decent IQ across the frame even wide open; much better than Canon's earlier offerings. As you can see in the last shot, it does fall off a bit in the corners when wide open.
Ah, that would explain it. I saw the OSS and I thought it was the new Sony lens. Thanks for the description of the Canon lens, which does look very nice and sorry I got your name wrong. Cheers
