Tried to shoot this view of Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacon's, Wales over the Xmas/New Year holidays but it was just a complete drizzle, low cloud white out!! Tried again last weekend for my birthday trip & not only was it clear there was also snow on the tops!!

It was misting rain all day so terrible light but I wanted to get out anyway.
I don’t blame you for that, Kathy; I did the same thing yesterday. Excellent images there - I didn’t have any doubt whatsoever about your being able to make the camera sing.
Big thank you to Manuel for forewarning us about the coronary virus.
In Italy, 349 new deaths from the novel coronavirus occurred last Monday; the death toll was 368 last Sunday. No country is immune from the coronavirus; the name of the game is to minimize the losses.
Top British and American scientists predict that, without massive government intervention and in the absence of citizens’ cooperation, the total fatalities might be 550 thousand in the U.K. and 2.2 million in the U.S.
One of the few lenses that I've ever owned that I repurchased later: Canon EF-S 10-22/3.5-4.5 zoom.
I recently bought (re-bought) a Canon 20D body, mostly for fun, but also to fill a gap left from selling my 1D3 body (loved that body, but kept the 1Ds3 instead). The 20D was almost a giveaway on B&S and has been fun to have back in my collection -- it was my second DSLR, following the Canon D60, and preceding the FF Canon 5D.
Anyhow, I recall the 10-22 as being practically "L" image quality, so when a cheap used model came up, I thought I'd give it a try on the 20D and the new Sony a7R4, since I was looking for an intermediate 30MP FF image in either a Sony a7III or Canon R. The R won out, but a side bonus of using the 10-22 there is that it works via Fotodiox AF adapter on the Sony (Sigma MC-11 baffle system is not rebated enough in the opening to allow EF-S rear lens intrusion without modification to the lens).
I haven't had any good weather since I received the lens, but here are a few shots showing it in use.
Funny to have my most expensive and newest camera using one of my oldest and cheapest electronic lenses! Could become a nice lens for knock-around hikes on Sony or Canon bodies.
