Many rural Tibetans age slowly. The caretaker here just climbed the stiff 150m (at 4200m). She even took a shortcut going back down. The driver in #2 (a smoker) gave up and had a rest at the bottom. Screen addiction is quasi-universal, sad to say. This is about the worst bokeh I see from the 85/1.8, easy to see why it was released last of the four 85s for FE. It just needs a bit of negative Clarity at times.
Have never been there at Rovinj, though at Haar many years ago.
Friends of mine always praise Rovinj and go there almost every year.
By the way Bastian - if you would have to acquire a wide angle lens for landscapes from the start again, would it still be the Loxia 21mm or one of the Voigtlander, either 21mm 3.5 or 21mm 1.4 ?
I am just right now contemplating these options for a future Nikon Z camera, attached via the Techart adapter.

Would still be the Loxia 21mm 2.8 for me.
The 21mm 3.5 seems to be a slightly lesser performer.
The 21mm 1.4 mainly adds bulk but nothing else, as due to the massive vignetting I would not want to use it for astrophotography
and that would be the only thing I need a fast lens wider than 28mm for.
I don't like the environmental portrait look of 21mm or 24mm lenses, too much distortion for my taste. For me it is the 28-35mm bracket.
If your applications benefit from a faster maximum aperture at 21mm the 21mm 1.4 surely looks like a nice lens though.
